Youth service and stay in Kretinga

Evangelical lutheran church of Kretinga was full of young people on the sunny May 22nd morning. Youth from Klaipėda, Tauragė, Batakiai, Jurbarkas, Šilalė parishes gathered together to the youth service. After greeting with long-lost friends, all of them met in the church where Rev. dr. Darius Petkūnas and Rev. Jonas Liorančas said a service.

After the service all participants were invited to the concert of Kretinga art school choir. Moreover, there was held an excursion to the Franciskan monastery, museum of Kretinga, Garden of Winter. During the visits to all these places, youth had excellent opportunity to communicate, learn about Franciskan living and their history, see a number of exhibits. This, really exciting, day has ended very fast. All participants thank Youth center of the Lithuanian evangelical luthern church for organising the day and expect that meetings like this will also be held in the future.
